Don't run, face it
It's overwhelming, it's chocking, I need something to keep me busy
That's what we tell ourselves, that's where we make the mistake. It's better to drown myself in a movie, to music to a game, to drugs, to sleep
At least I won't be able to feel it anymore, but, what happens when all that cools down?, when the movie end? you are back to the same situation, the more you run away from your emotions, the more they pile up t, and, you won't like it when they bust
You have to learn to listen to yourself
You may ask how exactly?
By allowing yourself to be in the moment with no distractions, you have to feel the emotions, if you want to cry cry, if you want to shout shout
Take a deep breath, acknowledge those emotions, be in the silence if you want to, take a walk if you want to,
Once you acknowledge them you will fill some weight being lifted off you
You are the medicine, not the distractions
