For grassroot activists ,funding is a blessing .

100 in the first assignment ,first generation learner

When I started Going out to our townships ,the initial needs were all pertaining to daily living expenses of food like ,bread ,samp, milk, sugar ,mealie ..So you will say how hard is it to earn that ? Now let me tell you every single woman's story there .

Multiple dependents often own siblings ,no parents ,no ID to get SASSA grants ,not because they are illegal, but missing parents forgot to register ,due to social reasons ..

Then comes lacking access to education, books ,data, pen and charging their light from the spaza shops ..Sunday churches give them donated clothes ,two complete meals ,Hence they are religious ,specially the younger ones ..

Now, girls less than 18,can't work even as domestics or helpers and with no access to school ,no sex education,no idea to recognise GBV even .Rather sex for money gives them food , they are safe from other perpetrators ,even at the risk of daily violence ..

Consider the minimum wage for legal capable SA is currently 28.75 and hour ..How many earn that daily ?

300 dollars converts to 5578.62 zar ..A small amount isn't it ,for many ? But it will feed 50 families of minimum 6 members for a. whole month ..

The reason why I am starkly pointing this out is I was born in India. In lieu of menial work ,poorer neighbours could still get food leftovers .There are langars and community food accessible to everyone ...If someone knows your story you can get help .Here the majority is unemployed due to APATHY or incapability due to incomplete education.who will feed whom..but still they share bread often ..

It needs crazy individuals to think outside their comfort zone .If we approach known sources of funding , there is lots of misappropriation ,with food rotting in food banks but not distributed due to the supply chain manipulation..

Oh yes,We are the richest African mile in Central Square Sandton ,and with G20 on,our robots and potholes are being whitewashed and repaired..

But since no great leader will be visiting dirty townships ,there only poverty is the biggest business.A place for photoshoots by donors, but very few thinking to remove them from the muck .The reason why Activism is being sparked in the townships by Crazy people like me..

The girls know how to change their lives ,they need peace to study and martial arts to stop GBV . And a few adults who believe in them and not just ready to give handouts..

Some few who stay there and believes in my vision .i just set the wheels rolling ,The rest is taking care of itself..Wish this could be replicated everywhere..

This perfect score has lots of tears and inconceivable pain..They are reaching there .Are my readers listening .Believe in us
