A Journey of Self-Discovery

In 2021, I embarked on a new chapter in my life, embracing Islam and marrying a Muslim man. Initially, I was excited to start this new journey with my partner. However, reality soon set in, and I found myself trapped in a world of hardship and neglect.

A Life of Struggle

My husband treated me more like a maid than a partner. He never supported my dreams or aspirations. Simple things like buying clothes or pursuing my passion for business were denied to me. I was confined to the four walls of our home, isolated from the world outside. Even visits to my family were forbidden.

The Weight of Neglect

When my husband was angry, he would withhold basic necessities, leaving our child and me to struggle. During my pregnancy, I faced immense hardship, but he showed no empathy or understanding.

Finding Strength

The realization dawned on me that I deserved better. I deserved love, respect, and support. I made the courageous decision to leave the marriage and reclaim my life.

Rediscovering Roots

As I distanced myself from the marriage, I found solace in my Christian roots once again. This shift brought me a sense of peace and clarity.

A New Beginning

I channeled my energy into having a tailoring school ,Through my organisation i started by having the lessons myself , a dream I had long cherished. This venture not only empowered me but also gave me a sense of purpose.

Closure and Moving On

My ex-husband's attempts to belittle me by spreading rumors about my newfound profession only fueled my determination. I knew I had made the right decision in leaving the marriage.

A Brighter Future

Today, I stand tall, proud of the woman I've become. Though my ex-husband refuses to support our child, I'm committed to providing a better life for them. I'm focused on building a brighter future, free from the shadows of my past.

I am now offering lessons to 50 women in zapita village using one machine
