Community engagement in rural Botswana — listening, learning, and working together to create solutions that uplift lives.

My name is Hon. Gofaone, a young leader and Councillor from Botswana.

Every day, I work closely with rural communities where I witness both the challenges people face and the strength they carry. These communities are full of potential, yet many voices remain unheard.

Through my work and my foundation, I am committed to empowering youth, supporting vulnerable families, and creating opportunities that uplift lives.

This photo represents what leadership means to me — sitting with the community, listening, learning, and working together to find solutions.

I joined this platform because I believe our stories matter. Real change does not start in boardrooms…. it begins at grassroots level.

I am here to connect, learn, and share, but most importantly, to amplify the voices of my community.

Because no voice should be left behind.
