From Silence to Building Safe Spaces: My Journey

I grew up knowing what it feels like to be voiceless, judged, and unseen. As a young single mother, I carried shame and silence instead of support. That silence nearly broke me until I realized the truth: healing is not a privilege, it is a right.

This realization gave birth to Safe Space Support Africa (SSSA) a grassroots initiative where women, youth, and communities can talk, heal, and grow. We started small, with WhatsApp peer support groups. Today, we are laying the foundation for a movement that can scale across Malawi.

But I also saw another wound in our systems: resources meant to change lives often never reach the people who need them most. Inflated prices, shady procurement, and mismanagement bleed donor funds dry. That’s why I founded True Pricing, an independent due diligence consultancy. We make sure donor money is used fairly, transparently, and with impact.

My vision is clear:

1. An Africa where mental health support is as accessible as food and water.

2. An Africa where every donor dollar brings real change to the ground.

I know I cannot build this alone. That is why I am here to connect with those who believe in transparency, healing, and Africa led solutions.

👉 If you are building safe spaces, advocating for transparency, or funding grassroots change let’s connect.

Together, we can disrupt stigma, rebuild trust, and create systems that honor both people and resources.
