Personal growth doesn’t always arrive with big announcements. Sometimes, it shows up in the quiet decision to raise your hand, speak up, or try something new.
Recently, I attended a Toastmasters conference. When the call came for volunteers to give a speech, I stepped forward not because I had to, but because I truly wanted to. I wanted to challenge myself, to share something real, and to grow.
When I delivered my speech, I felt grounded and confident. It was one of those moments where you feel fully present where you know you’re exactly where you're meant to be.

Me in front of the audience, choosing the topic and after delivering speech
After all the speakers had finished, the audience was invited to join the "best speaker" table and vote. To my joy and surprise, I was selected as one of the 3 winners. It was such a meaningful moment. Not just because I won, but because I could see how far I’ve come.
I’m proud of the progress I’ve made. And I also know I didn’t walk this path alone.
Being part of World Pulse has played an important role in my personal development. Through the community, I’ve found encouragement, inspiration, and a safe space to grow into the leader I’m becoming. Bit by bit, moment by moment, I feel my confidence rising and my voice becoming stronger.
This experience reminded me that leadership begins with small choices. It begins with showing up, speaking out, and believing that your voice matters.
I’m grateful for every opportunity that helps me grow
