FUND HER, FUND THE COMMUNITY

Paint the world with a smile

Such an emotional gesture for me to express how I feel about the importance of FUNDING WOMEN LED INITIATIVES. It hurts so bad when I recall where I am coming from running the organisation I founded without any solid sponsorship rather assisted by friends, family and associates. I founded an organisation in 2016 which is based on Women Empowerment, Poverty Eradication and Mental Health Wellness. One may always feel I am so clingy to my organisation or I want to take all the credit but that's not the case. I have knocked at almost all Ministry Offices in my country for any sort of assistance including funding but all I remember is rejection after rejection. That did not stop me from perusing my dream, my purpose and calling. I kept on going with impactful initiatives self funding because I understood the importance of it all. At the end we do it for our God.

Even at my home village, the political leadership, youth leadership were never available to at least atleast attend the seminars I was hosting. I carried on, from 2017 and currently still carrying on with impacting lives with the little that God blesses me with. It will be such a blessing to receive funds to boost Save A Woman Organisation. We have initiatives that if funded many lives from children to adults can be changed for the better, men and women, girls and boys. We empower women to be the best version of themselves for themselves and the community at large. That would bring peace and stillness to the world.

I did not allow the rejections demoralise me instead I believed God had a plan. In one of the initiatives I launched and rejected by the officials, it was later on launched by the former president of our country. This hurt me to the core, it broke me but I comforted myself with, if at all my initiative can turn out to be a national initiative it means God is working on something. Whether they engaged me or not, God knows the truth. I had launched an initiative that encouraged everyone to utilise their talents, gifts, potential purpose, natural resources, to make a living and get rid of poverty. I then launched an initiative that focuses on mental health wellbeing, of which my organisation has a well equipped professionals and activists offering free counselling and therapy services. My team is trying very hard to provide social support with home visits, check in calls, messages and donations to people with various situations. That includes the sick, unemployed youth, young mothers, elderly people and children.

We have also launched another initiative which is mainly focused on taking care and acknowledging elderly people and parents. We have launched an initiative that promotes love and stand against anything that degrades love such as Gender Based Violence. Lastly we have created a family in our team to support each other in all kinds of situations. Imagine what more we could do if we had an opportunity to be funded. All we want is for souls to be happy, we want to paint the world with a smile. Depression must not exist on this earth, Suicide and anything that leads to such.
