“Gaza Bleeds, and the World Turns Away: Where Is Our Humanity?”

"Today, stand for Gaza because tomorrow, it could be you. If we stay silent now, who will speak for us when the world turns away?"

“Where Is Humanity Now?”

I don’t even know how to begin this. My hands are shaking. My heart is tired. And my soul feels like it’s mourning a thousand lives I’ve never even met.

But I can’t stay silent anymore. Because what’s happening in Gaza… it’s not just a conflict. It’s not “complicated.” It’s a massacre. It’s pure brutality. It’s the loudest cry for help, and the world is scrolling past it like it’s just another headline.

Where is humanity now?

We scream justice for everything else. We post about gender-based violence, abuse, injustice, and equality on every platform we have. We write, we speak, we demand change. But why are we quiet when Gaza is bleeding?

Children are being buried under rubble. Mothers are holding pieces of their babies. Men are digging graves with their bare hands, while the sky rains fire and the world looks away.

This isn’t just politics. This isn’t just war. This is terror. This is genocide. This is humanity being torn apart—and we are watching.

And I ask you again… where is humanity now?

How can we call ourselves healers, advocates, peacekeepers… when we can’t even raise our voices for those who are being silenced with bombs?

We should be ashamed.

Because if we can’t speak for Gaza, if we can’t feel their pain, if we can’t even acknowledge the horror they are facing daily then I’m sorry… We will never truly heal. We will never know what it means to be human.

But here’s the thing

It’s not too late.

Yes, we are angry. Yes, we feel helpless. But silence is a choice. And action, no matter how small, is still a flame in the darkness.

We can pray. We can share the truth. We can boycott. We can donate. We can educate. We can keep their names alive. We can break the silence. We must break the silence.

Because Palestine is not just a place. It’s a symbol. Of resilience. Of courage. Of a people who refuse to die quietly.

So raise your voice. Speak, even if it trembles. Because silence will never be on the side of the oppressed.

And to my brothers and sisters in Gaza We see you. We hear you. We bleed with you. And we will never stop speaking your name.
