"Grow Your Own Roots"

Every tree is accountable for its fruit. It doesn’t borrow from its neighbor or rely on the strength of another’s roots. Each tree stands tall, bearing the weight of its branches and the fruit it produces. And that’s how I want to live my life.

I want to be my own tree—a tree that doesn’t depend on others to grow or thrive. I refuse to carry the weight of someone else’s expectations or rely on the legacy of my ancestors to define my worth. Their stories, their reputations, and their burdens are not mine to carry. I choose to build my life from the ground up, nurturing my own roots and bearing fruit that is uniquely mine.

We live in a world that often tells us to carry the weight of others—to uphold traditions, protect reputations, or follow paths that were never ours to walk. But what if we let go? What if we stood tall, owning our strengths and responsibilities, and let our lives be a reflection of who we truly are?

The time has come to change. To stop leaning on others and start growing independently. Because when we do, we not only free ourselves—we inspire others to do the same. Stand tall. Be your own tree. Let the world see what you’re capable of.

"Every tree is accountable for its own fruit; grow strong roots, bear your own burdens, and let your life reflect the strength of your independence."
