Professional development is the ongoing process of improving skills, knowledge, and abilities to enhance career progression and performance. It involves engaging in activities like training, education, and mentorship to stay current and advance in your field.
Personally, i think professional development never seize to be in existence inasmuchas one is still living, no matter the level you have attained career wise.
Where am i in my professional growth?
My professional growth journey is still ongoing considering the fact that jobs keeps coming, seminars keeps coming, trainings keeps coming all of these which needs to be updated either in the CVs and in the cover letters for easy job accessibility.
Among the skills i like most is writing and so I'm an upcoming writer also planning to merge writing with ghost writing, improvement is needed most likely in my writing style and arrangement, As the saying goes " learning is a continuous process". So accepting to grow and improve in my career path is the greatest part of development.
I have accepted to do that and that is why I'm on world pulse community, to find my writing interest and niche, and for others who might be learning from me to find theirs aswell through me.
Another way to grow professionally is through paid online courses, i have read testaments from professionals who did that or who rendered that and i must say it's quite emulating.
"Nothing good comes easy" they say, so to be perfect professionally i must pay with and sacrifice what i have and that is through online courses.
Also, attending seminars, workshops, trainings and as well networking with people who have similar interests as you do would also help through the path of professional growth.
Finally, documenting the whole learning process, from seminars attended, to trainings and online courses underwent, documenting these processes in a portfolio, CV and even a cover letter for easy access of employers and companies that might need your services.
I might not have gone through all these development, but they are part of my path to professional growth and career advancement.
