Healthy living and knowing your rights on SRHR sensitisation

Since the "shiftthepower"pilot, our target was 30 people but so far to date we have impacted on 143women, 8teenagemothers plus 45 youths a total of 196people.Amongst the teenage mothers, most of them were lured into sexuality because of lack of basic needs like sanitary towels,panties,body oils pocket money bathing soaps and lack of knowledge on the repercussions and negativity on indulging in early and premature sexual activities. Some fell prey to being cheated that they were in love ❤️.2 dropped out of school due to parents financial difficulties and got married off into polygamous homes and later fled back to their parents homes due to marital difficulties after having given birth. Unfortunately it's another big burden to the financially strapped parents. The women on the other hand are mostly illiterate but we were happy that most of them if not all were and are eagerly ready for change. Or next initiative is to sensitise them on knowing their rights and empowerment on self reliance. This shall be done in mid April this month.
