World Pulse

Hello to my sisters everywhere πŸ’ͺ🏼🌼🌺

It is with great joy that I am joining this community and sharing my story here. When I visited a dear new friend in Montreal, known here as Mama Tam, I think, it became clear to both of us that we share a passion for empowering and bringing women together! She lost no time telling me about World Pulse.

Actually, I believe that I came across World Pulse when it was initially in print years ago. At that time, the Positive News newspaper that I founded was still being printed before transitioning online. Probably someone sent it to us recognizing a kindred publication that informs, inspires, and empowers, with a focus on women. I look forward to learning more about and being a part of this enormous community of us!

I am a 55 yr feminist lesbian. I was born in Poland to a family of activists for social change. When I was 13 we immigrated to the US. The rolling hills, lakes, and waterfalls of Upstate NY are my current home. As I write surrounded by bird song, I'm imagining some of you being surrounded by birdsong unique to your home place at this very moment.

One of the writing prompts was to pose a question. Here is mine... What's something nice that someone did for you that surprised you?

With Love,

Ilu
