Her Hygiene & Her Campaign

I have been away on world pulse for about 2 years perhaps more. A lot has happened to me. After years of championing and advocating for maternal health, I became a mum and it’s been a rewarding journey. Pregnancy and childbirth has taught me that hygiene is key to a woman’s reproductive health. I started Her Hygiene & Her Campaign in May 2017, to  join the global voices in advocating for WASH (SDG 6) for women and girls in low income communities, displaced camps and public schools. These vulnerable group are in constant need of basic hygiene management and even education. I have also taken a step further to produce reusable pads which I give for now at a no costs fee for these vulnerable group through a project called TAAF pad bank. I hope to share stories and lessons learnt in the next couple of days, or weeks perhaps months. I’m glad to be back on this platform to connect, share and learn from amazing women changing their worlds. I am so open to connect and collaborate with women working in the areas of maternal and reproductive health, water hygiene and sanitation including menstrual hygiene management.
