Hope Skilling project
Hope Skilling project was birthed in 2017 as an efforts of seeding peace and addressing domestic violence and sexual human trafficking through economic empowerment and skills training and environmental protection. In Northern Uganda, many girls and young people do not complete their primary levels of education because of poverty. This makes parents to view their daughters as sources of wealth through dowry. Girls are then forced to marriage at such tender age and they end up failing to take care of their children and some ends up in abuse relationships. We want to break this barrier though:
1. Support girls who are at risks of dropping out of school with sanitary product so they can complete primary levels of education.
2. Provide skills training in tailoring/sewing, Hair dressing, building and construction, carpentry so they can be self reliant.
Our goal is to reduce on the teenage pregnancies among young girls, increase school retention and prevent sexual trafficking..
Our goal is to set up training Hubs at the village levels and to train young people with skills
