How I commemorated World Environment Day

🌲 WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY 040622

Environment is an integral part of Human daily life and it needs maximum attention, protection and care since it influences the growth, development and survival of humanity.

In commemorating this great day, I and some young environmentalist engaged in a Clean Up Exercise at Abali Park, Port Harcourt as there's need for us to take action and save our planet Earth 🌍

Climatechange is a global phenomenon,Nature, Biodiversity loss, and waste pollution are evidence that Earth is “code red” and it's all around us and growing more ominous every day.

The way out of this dilemma is to transform our economies and societies to make them inclusive, fair, and more connected with nature. We must shift from harming the earth to healing it in achieving sustainability for our environment because we have OnlyOneEarth and this calls for collective, transformative action on a global scale to celebrate, protect and restore our planet.
