How the needy widows, orphans and teenage mothers will be needed in my community

Hi everyone hope this finds you well and safe at home. During this lockdown life is not easy for the vulnerable and it gets harder everyday. But as women we refuse to dance according to it's tunes of challenges caused by corona virus but rather find opportunities to change lives.

As HOPE ON THE ROCK MINISTRIES helping vulnerable teenage moms , widows and orphans that are facing isolation in the communities we come from, we want to use this covic19 period to change lives by equipping the needy with tools to be needed, hopeless with tools to be agents of HOPE, useless with tools to be useful, isolated with tools of being embraced, those who are seen as problems with tools if being solutions and etc

HOPE ON THE ROCK MINISTRIES is training the vulnerable ( orphans, widows, elderly, disabled a d teen moms) to make soap and give not to sell to those families that can not afford soap in the same communities where they're avoided and isolated. We believe that any disease that is caused by poor hygiene can be avoided with soap including corona virus. This will promote clean homes because we have to stay home so these homes have to be clean for safe lives. How can the needy have access to soap? I believe if we make it and distribute it in poor communities, the useless women will be useful, the needy women will be needed, those that are regarded as problems will be seen as solutions, the sorrowful women will put a smile in people's faces in their communities.

We believe that we can start small with the little we have and we don't have to wait to a lot of resources to change lives and when the epidemic ends the the image that the community had on these vulnerable women will have changed. We have refused to sit down and fold hands and do nothing on this epidemic.

We have a challenge of having soap making and training materials but we believe we can start small and change lives and we have already begun. You can follow us on our face book page, HOPE ON THE ROCK MINISTRIES Its under my Facebook account Esther Tendo.
