My sisters often ask me: “How can we start a social initiative? How do we get funds?”
And my answer is always simple — start from your own pocket.
I began my charity work with my pocket money. After my father’s passing, I had to take on the responsibility of my family — yet I never forgot my responsibility toward society. Even from my salary, I always set aside a portion for the education of underprivileged children.
When I started sewing training, I used my mother’s old sewing machine. When I started ICT training, I used my own laptop. That’s how every journey begins — with what you already have.
