I am a black woman visual artist and it's ok

Art can transform the world in giving us healing from past, present. and future experiences. I started my art journey as a little loxion girl who loved creating a blank page into something I want it to be, I was fascinated how I can escape the situations I faced with my crayons and sketchbook, it became an addiction from then till now. Art is a male dominated industry which tends to promote our male counterparts instead o women we are not trusted to produce powerful art works instead it is done out of pity and being black has it's problems as well. I produce my art works to transform the mentality of the world.
