I Like It

I like when people let their guard down and don't pretend to be something they are not

I like when people admit that they don't have all the answers and they are clueless, scared and vulnerable

I like when they admit being vulnerable and human, when they don't accept the orthodox notions of bravery in which tears do not drop and hearts do not melt

I like it when they don't fall for the fake courage that starts with oppression and ends at violence

Rather they know the value and power of all emotions and let them out as they were meant to be

in a gentle, peaceful way that becomes the hope, a ray of light for others
