I nominate Susu Mohamed

I have learned from Tam that Susu has been on World Pulse since 2013!!!

As cofounder SWECA org http://sweca.org/,  and with seasoned experience with humanitarian organizations and the UN, I nominate Susu because of her compassionate, steadfast, supportive encouragement. Her powerful letter to Afghan women embodies this: https://www.worldpulse.com/community/users/director/posts/100931.

The results are impactful, here is a small sample: her and her team have provided essential mental health awareness and counseling services in 18 regions of Somalia, recently providing trauma counseling for refugees when a fire broke out in their campsite in Kahda IDP camp.  She raises awareness of rape and FGM via innovative methods like radio, benefiting 1.5 million women and girls.  Her training work to prevent harassment of young female students has benefited 20,000 students between the aged of 13 up to 30.

I nominate this woman for who she is, what she embodies in her words of encouragement and her work.
