I Stand with Her

I am one who is always looked down on,I am one who is called weak,I am one who carries my  burden and that of others

I am the pillar of any firm wall I am the reason the world still get its increase,I am the picture of a stable and peaceable world

Yet I am the object of shame, pain, mockery, insults and disgrace, what an irony

Its a disgrace when I come out to greet my neighbors with a battered face isn't it a shame when I can't walk with my head up high on the streets of my community isn't it a mockery of who I am when am used as an object for sex and a machine for child bearing instead of a partner and companion

Am beaten and asked not to cry am abused and asked not to speak when I carry a swollen face I tell people it was an accident

When will it all stop when will my abuser learn that am not a punching bag when will it be told that I also have a right to life and happiness

Am tired I need someone to listen you have always heard but never listened am dying am loosing me can you hear my cry can you notice am right beside, behind and before you.

In a world of violence and abuse she is alone,we must intentionally and consciously take note of her and the pain she goes through each day, She is the woman abused by him,he tells her you can't tell no one,you are my property,I own you,you are worth nothing you are only good at what I say you are.

This is not true:I am beautiful, strong, priceless,a rear gem, able, capable, industrious and I can be anybody and anything I choose to be. I have the mind, the courage, the grace, the ability and I choose to run the SHOW!!

STOP THE VIOLENCE AND ABUSE ON WOMEN,FOR HEAR AND NOW I STAND WITH HER. AND TOGETHER WE ARE #POSSIBLE
