Ignited to Ignite!

When I first joined the World Pulse Mentorship program, I had the privilege of being mentored by the amazing Kirthi. She was more than a mentor to me, she was a guide, a light, and a mirror reflecting back the strengths I had not yet seen in myself. Kirthi ignited my passion more deeply, believed in my dreams, and gave of herself selflessly to nurture my growth and development. Her support did not only sharpen my skills but also strengthened my vision as a leader, fueling my determination to make an even greater impact through Girls Education Mission International.

As the Founder and Executive Director of GEM, I have dedicated my life to empowering girls through education, mentorship, and leadership development. Yet, my journey with World Pulse reminded me that even leaders need mentors who walk beside them, pouring courage into their hearts and pushing them to rise higher. That experience left me with an unshakable desire to give back. Today, I feel called to step forward as a community mentor, to be for others what Kirthi was for me, a voice of encouragement, a source of strength, and a catalyst for growth.

What I hope to gain in this new phase is not only personal and professional growth but also the joy of multiplying impact. I want to deepen my capacity to mentor, strengthen my leadership, and learn from the diverse experiences of other changemakers in the World Pulse community. Most importantly, I want to walk alongside women who are rising - sharing my story, my lessons, and my passion so that together, we can create ripples of transformation in our communities.

This is more than a program to me; it is a circle of impact. Just as mentorship once transformed me and fueled the growth of GEM, I now long to carry that torch forward, igniting the same spark of possibility in others.
