INSIDE OUR COCOONS

INSIDE OUR COCOONS

Sometimes diamonds
land in your waking lap
knees tremble a language
serendipity taps

you never really put your finger on it
yet never really far from this
it can seem like it's too far from grip
if grip is our mindset flip

a rainbow carries the songs of history
repeated attempts of it all
a rainbow lives in your story
you thrive on it all the more

how often do we see each core
behind each of our masked door
and when we rise to this playful space
I hope our ego not to spoil

sometimes these diamonds
like a butterfly's dance
will stay in our warm cradle
when nurtured in this sacred trance

does a diamond mean the material of
or a symbol of subconscious plenty
a quiver of our inner dreams
the core of humanity

this precious jewel it plays it's call
sees each of us as sprite
a hidden secret language falls
if only we all could sight

our precious jewel in silence
tours our keyboard color tunes
trusting one day we will know
this shine ...
