Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am a listener first and a speaker second. I wish to amplify the voices of others so all perspectives are equally valuable to the conversation of how we better our world.

Reading the news, I believe in the power of staying positive in order to keep moving forward. I am an undergraduate student at Lewis & Clark College, yoga teacher, community builder, and friend. Academically, I study International Affairs, French, and Environmental Studies. Personally, I study how to make my interactions with others more meaningful and productive.

I am here to listen, learn, and travel.

My Passions:
yoga, hiking, cooking, drawing

My Challenges:
Challenging the limitations I place on myself. Accepting that the future is unknown.

My Areas of Expertise:
NOT expert, but interested in: Hydropolitics and natural resource politics, Racial, environmental, and educational equity, Foreign aid and development politics. Non-profit sector, Grassroots organizing, Youth development, Social media, Research
