About Me:
I am a New York-based filmmaker and activist doing what I can to make the world a better place. I made a film in Malawi entitled "WATER FIRST: Reaching the Millennium Development Goals" about the central significance of clean water in achieving all of the MDGs. www.waterfirstfilm.org As I result, I founded a charity to provide clean water to people of Malawi in partnership with Freshwater Project Malawi. www.FreshwaterMalawi.org
I have also produced and directed productions for UNICEF on water related issues in South Sudan, and for the International Society (ISUH) on Urban Health in Nairobi.
I'm the founding director of Public Health Productions at the New York Academy of Medicine where we focus on public health and global health issues. www.nyam.org/php . And I provide photography for the National Association of Female Executives (NAFE).
I also teach Public Health Through Film and Fiction at NYU graduate school of Public Health, Culture and Nutrition.
