About Me: I have spent more than 30 years in non-commercial public broadcasting as a radio producer and reporter. I lost my job in 2009 and have been unsuccessful in continuing my professional career with the degree of success I once had. This has been quite a challenge! since work and has always been the most important part of my life. As a consequence, I am now doing more teaching and volunteer work in my community and find that giving back is renewing my sense of purpose in this lifetime. My Passions: Animals, animal rights, horticulture, reading, movies, vegan lifestyle and always, my friends. My Challenges: Being vegan and not liking to cook! And continuing my Spanish studies. My Vision for the Future: Less work, more learning and connecting. My Areas of Expertise: Journalism, broadcasting, radio production, multi-media skills, public speaking, horticulture, landscape design, dog training.
