Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I live in rural Vermont with my husband and three children, and teach both Cultural Anthropology and History for the Vermont State College System in Vermont. Prior to settling here, I worked in East Africa as a teacher, then at a large refugee camp in Mandera Kenya. I have been back in the states for almost 15 years, and long to travel back to Africa (especially in deep winter)! My time in East Africa motivated me to pursue the career I have now in Vermont, a College Instructor who seeks to bring the wonder of my lived experiences into the classroom. I look forward to meeting people through World Pulse, and connecting to this community!
