About Me:
Growing up in Tanzania, Kenya, Zambia, and Washington, D.C., I saw firsthand how the impacts of poverty, corruption, and lack of education and basic human rights reach from local to global levels. My experiences shaped my studies and career. I am passionate about studying the causes of economic and social problems, effective and innovative ways to help solve them, and spreading understanding and awareness about social issues. I am dedicated to promoting awareness about the global problems facing women, and supporting the innovating and courageous work they are doing to address them.
