Introducing myself and my journal

Mr Cyrille GUEL is a young media and information literacy (MIL) activist who expresses a great interest in all issues affecting youth both at national and international levels and has demonstrated effectiveness and dynamism in taking initiatives in the matter.
He has established and chair EducommunicAfrik, a pioneering organization in his country to provide workshops and projects for children, young people with a focus on marginalized communities (women, …) of Burkina Faso in using media to foster their leadership, advocacy, self-expression, citizenship and their involvement in seeking solutions to problems concerning them especially as well as their communities.
This momentum has earned him to be invited to important meetings on major issues by the institutions of his country as well as the international ones including African Union, UNDP, UNESCO and the Global Alliance for Partnership on Media and Information Literacy (GAPMIL).
Cyrille also serves as a Member of the Steering Committee of the Pan-African Alliance for Partnership on Media and Information Literacy (PAMIL) as well as a correspondent for the African Governance Architecture (AGA) in his country. Since the 15th December 2014, after online elections, he has been elected as the Country Coordinator of the Network of African Youths for Development (NAYD) for Burkina Faso.

One of his last personal achievements he can consider as significant is that he has succeeded to stimulate the quick response of the African Union through his tweets on the political situation in Burkina Faso at the end of October 2014. This is reflected in these following links :
