Introducing myself and my journal

About Me:
I am media person, working in a FM station, conducting programs on gender issues, women empowerment and others. I've been also working in various organizations from around 15 years in different sectors as WASH, disaster management, heritage conservation, child right, women empowerment etc. Recently with couple of friends, we have registered an NGO named Women Empowerment Nepal; at the moment we are working on small fund raising events.... the major activities this year will be Self Defense Training for children and women, Skill development trainings etc. I am àlso involved in local women movement called National Newar Women Movement; the main objective of this campaign is to increase participation of local Newar women into politics, bureaucracy and law making bodies.

Recently I have lost my mother, she passed away on May 11, 2012; she's my inspiration.

I have a cute little son and a helping husband.

In life I've seen huge ups and downs but strongly believe things happen for the betterment..........
