Introducing myself and my journal: A matriarchal perspective

About Me:
Nathalie Molina: Senior Director at the world’s leading globalization consulting firm. Business strategist, public speaker, angel investor, blogger, activist and global misfit.

Contributor for two recent publications, The 4-Hour Workweek by Timothy Ferriss (expanded version published December, 2009), and “Latino Link” Building Brands Online with Hispanic Communities and Content by Joe Kutchera (Sept 2010).

I am passionate about empowering women in (and outside) business around the world, and about contributing to change that will make a substantive impact in our lifetimes. I believe this requires we build interdisciplinary models that harness the power of existing constructs and combine it with sustainable, egalitarian, socially responsible practices. Over the last 13+ years (working in business and entertainment across 50+ countries), I’ve developed some ideas on the subject.

My Passions:
Storytelling. Assembling and organizing communities across geographies & cultures. Language! Localization (i.e. go global by getting local). Inclusion & empowerment of people from all walks of life and geographies.

My Challenges:
Time, never having enough.

My Areas of Expertise:
Globalization, business strategy, matriarchal business practices, translation, online strategy, community mobilization, networking.
