Introducing myself and my journal: All The Queen's Men

About Me:
I have a little backpacker's hostel in the middle of Vancouver Island with my Kiwi husband, Chris and two beautiful sons, Angus and Beck. When not checking guests into their dorms, I work as a freelance writer and photographer, contributing material to both online and print publications here and nationally.
I have spent my life learning, wandering, and writing. After studying journalism and literature at university, I left Canada to travel and see the world firsthand - traipsing about for a near-decade. I stayed overseas long enough to write, edit, translate, manage, serve, guide, and fall in love.
My most challenging role to date, mother, is my current learning curve and proving to be my favourite so far.

My Passions:
Being a mom, thrift shopping, the ocean, traveling, blogging, writing, road tripping, swiss cheese

My Challenges:
Not enough hours in the day

My Vision for the Future:
Peace, tolerance, love, unity, education

My Areas of Expertise:
Journalism, Reporting, Editing, ESL, EFL
