Introducing myself and my journal: Art is an Elastic Sort of Love

About Me:
It is tough to write about yourself. While the past has made me who I am, it is the future to which I look with excitement and hope. I have studied in New York and lived abroad. I have volunteered and worked in Africa. I have written for many publications. I speak French. I dance constantly and have performed the world over, meeting incredible artists at every stop. I want to know their stories. Artists, no matter the medium, always have something unique to say and add new perspectives through which to view our world.

My Passions:
Contemporary dance, dance as empowerment (dance therapy), writing and journalism, creating

My Challenges:
Finding a way to infuse my life as an aspiring writer and humanitarian with my passion for movement and the arts

My Vision for the Future:
A future in which the world responds to humanitarian crises with efficacy instead of beaurocracy, one in which the people are listened to by their governments and the world, one in which artists always have the freedom to voice their opinions.

My Areas of Expertise:
Writing, social media, performance, choreography
