Introducing myself and my journal: Bees, Muses & Creative Cultural Initiatives

About Me:
I am a dancer, mother, activist, care-giver to elderly and dying (by profession- at the moment), student (M.A. program in Women's Spirituality, ITP, Palo Alto, CA), and crusader for the bees, bats, seeds, and all earth-based environmental causes. Especially drawn to work sometime with Vandana Shiva and her organization "Navdanya" (dedicated to safeguarding the diversity of seeds in the world). Also active in alerting people to the plight of the honey bees, who are dying. Created "An Evening in Honor of the Sacred Honey Bee", and have a blog with bee information and video of our event: www.sacredhoneybee.blogspot.com. Plan on attending the upcoming "Sophia Women's World Conference" in May in Bulgaria http://www.sophiawwc.org/, dedicated to advancing the status of women and girls.
