Introducing myself and my journal: Empowering women in Environment Management and improving biodiversity

About Me:
I am a mother two with more than 10 years experience in environment management, planning and monitoring. I have a BSc. in Natural Resources Management (2002). It is my wish to take up a Masters Course in Planning and Management to improve my skills in the field. Basically, my rural home is agriculturally very productive with high rainfall amounts throughout the year as it is located in the highlands of central Kenya. The Masters course will help me empower women in my rural home in environment management and sustaining and improving biodiversity. To encourage women to plant more trees to improve the environment we live in. To plant two indigenous trees for every tree cut. I would like to empower women to take up agro-forestry as a way of creating more diverse, productive, profitable, healthy, and sustainable land-use systems.
Thank you!
