Introducing myself and my journal: Enhancing the participation of women and youth with Disabilities in Nation Development



About Me:
I work as a community developer and social worker utilizing my skills and knowledge in engaging communities in the development in sustainable initiatives and in the implementation our organizational objectives. I am a flexible individual, I particularly enjoy challenges and the exposure to new and unfamiliar environments always striving to adapt quickly and to do my best at all times.
I work towards bridging the gap between national level policy lobbyists and community groups at the grassroots through creating awareness to the community on gender equality, women and children’s rights and poverty eradication policies to implement enacted laws and policies and relay community policy requirements upwards for policy formulation and HIV/AIDS Training to the community. I have skills in Braille, Sign Language, Abacus and adapted computer technology which enables me to bridge the gap among persons with various disabilities and to make their issues known.



My Passions:
Assisting persons with disabilities in things they are unable to perform, swimming, athletics, Training others in conversant issues.



My Challenges:
Resource Mobilisation



My Vision for the Future:
To have an environment where all people can access with ease in terms of socially, economically, physically, psychologically and spiritually.



My Areas of Expertise:
Braille, Sign Language, Abacus, Adapted ICT, Education and Training to Persons with specific Disabilities.
