Introducing myself and my journal: Facing Fearless

About Me:
I'm 55, a mom, a sister, a daughter, a wife, a friend. I am an incest thriver. I've owned several successful businesses. I was diagnosed with Parkinson's disease at age 40, lost my biz, took meds for 6 years. I was told the diagnosis was wrong and luckily I am very healthy after all of that medical nightmare. At age 48 I chose to go to school and spent two years on my certification for coaching.I am an adjudicator for the Board of Referees, a federal appointment in Canada, for the Employment Insurance commission. I was a member of the Police Services Board in my community until last week, having had to step down due to a personal move I empower women 45 and up in all areas of their lives. I enjoy spending time writing about all women's issues and mentoring younger women. I wish I'd had a mentor when I was in my earlier years so now, as an elder, I share out what I can.
