Introducing myself and my journal: Grandmother

About Me:
Hi all,

I am so glad to be able to join this community! I am a Ugandan aged 56 years old working as a social/community worker in a child welfare organisation. I am a female and a widow caring for five (5) grandchildren orphaned by one of my children. I love meeting people, caring for others and feeling that I am wanted by the people out there and those around me. I always try to please other people. I always put others first!

I do have a lot of ideas and given this type of forum, I will be able to share them out with my peers so that we may find solutions to some as a team. I have excellent and communication skills and love internet so I am confident that I shall perform well and be among the 30 to be chosen!!

My Passions:
Working with children, women and the elderly

My Challenges:
Lack of enough funding to change vulnerable people's lives. I lack the power to advocate for change until now that I shall be availed this space.

My Vision for the Future:
To see a world where everybody can live peacefully and nobly.

My Areas of Expertise:
Community work, proposal writing, team building.
