Introducing myself and my journal: Interstellar

About Me:
A transplant to Oregon, I moved here with the intention of dis-owning a car. 4-years later, I am a daily commuter in a city that shines by bike. I listen to the stories of others all day as a barista in a coffee shop and a server at one of Portland's favorite brew pubs. I write my own stories, too. I live for sunny days and socializing, unless a good hike or road trip beckons. But, not much makes me happier than being surrounded by happy humans on a dance floor.

My Passions:
Equity, Equality, Egality & Humanism

My Challenges:
Focusing on one task, when I want to take on a dozen!

My Vision for the Future:
I see a paradigm shift, ahead: I see less consumption and more creative outlets. I see more urban farming and less mall shopping. I see more bike riding and less car driving. I see better education and less debt.

My Areas of Expertise:
English language and literature, reading, literacy.
