Introducing myself and my journal: It's Not Just A Dream

About Me:
Hello Dear Women,

I am so excited to join your community! Every day I see the world news and every day I see more and more faces of women... striking, protesting, working for peace, fighting sexual and physical violence... I am so proud to be a woman and so proud to be a part of this. I dream of a different world for my daughter. I dream of a different life for my son.

I am a social worker and work with lots of different clients. I am honored to learn from each client and am overjoyed when I see them have more of the life they long for. Trauma and oppression are soul crushing but also sow the seeds for compassion and change.

My Passions:
painting, organizing women, gardening, photography, knitting

My Challenges:
I get tired. I get impatient.

My Vision for the Future:
A world where peace is taken for granted. Where everyone has a home, food, love, safety, healthcare, a voice, freedom to live an authentic life.

My Areas of Expertise:
Therapy for trauma, adjustment and mood issues. Social justice. Making art. Listening.
