Introducing myself and my journal: Just a Girl from Oregon

About Me:
I was born and raised in Oregon, and I love this part of my country very much. I enjoy being outdoors in the woods, at the ocean, and alongside rivers and lakes. I have a wonderful husband and daughter, a little dog (a Welsh Pembroke Corgi), two brothers, and many cousins, nephews and nieces. I work full time as a writer, creating training materials for large and small companies. I love words! I also love teaching adults English as a Second Language, which I do as a volunteer at a local school. I get a lot of joy from encouraging other people. I'm a Lutheran, I enjoy all kinds of music, and am learning to play the piano. Oh, and I ride a motorcycle. It is so much fun!

My Vision for the Future:
A world with no litter, where crime is controlled, and all public places are safe and clean. A healthy earth with abundant life, populated by free people who are motivated by loving kindness, respect, and the desire to improve.
