About Me: I'm a 25 year old single mother who is half native american and half mexican living on the Standing Rock Sioux Reservation. I am currently going to school to be a Social Worker, and one of the areas of learning about social work is advocacy. I never truly realized how passionate I could be when it comes to advocacy, and this has been such a great learning experience. I also work full-time as a Parent Aide at our tribal Child Protection Services. This too has created the affinity of advocacy for me; to be the voice for those who cannot speak for themselves.
