Introducing myself and my journal: MY FIRST POST

About Me:
This is one of the most difficult things to do, because you do not really know yourself; others know you better. If you ask people who I am, they will have a lot to say, good, bad and maybe ugly. Who do I think I am? I am a young lady on the road of life with a burning passion to positively influence my immediate environment, in my own little way.

My drive for positive influence has made my skills influential in a way that I believe that my footprints are in the hearts of people. I have held positions (paid and unpaid) and life through these offices taught me responsibility, integrity and hard work.

I am a young lady who has learnt to make gold out of the challenges that life throws at me. And I must admit that I am driven by a great zeal for life, not only mine but humanity in general. In April 2008, I decided to follow my career path; I currently work as an Assistant Editor with Farafina magazine (www.farafinamagazine.com). I am also a volunteer editor with TakingITGlobal (www.takingitglobal.org).

Being a part of World Pulse will be an avenue to share my knowledge with others and indeed it will be a great privilege to learn from young, brave and intelligent women from different cultures and walks of life. I must admit that right now, I cannot fully capture the vast wealth of possibilities here, but one thing is sure, it will be a great opportunity to influence others positively. So, I wait!
