Introducing myself and my journal: NAMI INDIA-Mental Health for women



About Me:
I founded NAMI INDIA in 2000- www.namiindia.in after surviving Mental Illness.
Persons Living with Mental Illness are deprived or many rights including their legal capacity.
This could be in terms of treatment, insights, rights to property, education, employment etc.



Many persons with Mental Illness are abandoned by their families and have a right to access to proper Mental Health care, treatment, rehabilitation and recovery.



My work has exposed me to various stories and families, some wonderful and many sad.
Counseling, assistance, phone calls, home visits, support groups and advocacy are part of what I am today.



My Passions:
