Introducing myself and my journal: NaniKindness

About Me:
Kind girl, mother of two charming boys, wife to a great hubby, daughter, sister and friend. I am a simple girl from South Africa who believes that there is a lot of good in the world. My purpose while in this world is to do as much good as I can.

I was born in Soweto and raised by a single mom who survived extremely difficult times while fighting a life threatening cardiovascular illness. Her will to live and determination to be a good mother allowed her to raise me well. As a result of her unfailing efforts and my upbringing I have a passion for helping and mentoring young girls from disadvantaged backgrounds. I want to show them that they too can be the stars they want to be against all odds!

I am a humanitarian at heart, a trade marketer by profession. I have been fortunate to work for very successful local and international consumer goods companies. Since leaving the corporate world, I have started a social enterprise called Created by 'nique. I founded this business on the desire to innovate, achieve sustainable positive social impact and drive environmental awareness in as many of our business activities as possible.

I love our planet, I am a tree hugger and kindness is my center.
