Introducing myself and my journal: Not just a small town girl.

About Me:
I am not who I appear to be and yet I am also exactly that. I embrace contradiction in my experience of the world around me as well as within me. I beleive that there lies power in personal experience and understanding-- yet we are powerless when this is all we are able to see and function from. I want to understand my own journey though life by exploring and understanding all that surrounds me in a global context. I want to listen. I want to pay attention. I want to learn. I am very excited that I stumbled across this website and am really looking forward to joining an international group of women's voices.

My Passions:
my children, home, garden, the night sky, cooking, listening quietly to the world around me

My Challenges:
getting involved in things that are important to me, feeling overwhelmed with life

My Vision for the Future:
I want to see a world where people are empathetic to all others and see beyond their own world view, enabling change across the world to help better all humanity. We are a global community and we must join together.
