Introducing myself and my journal: One last try

About Me:
Hello Sisters! I am Michelle, I am 57, I have been married for 37 years and shared my spiritual and human journey with my husband Steve. We have two extraordinary children: Diana 22 and Lucas 17. I am a licensed massage therapist, a Ph.D. in Wholistic Nutrition, a black belt in karate and an artist. I have been practicing Amma Therapeutic Massage for over 35 years. My husband and I were founding members of a group that started the first and largest Wholistic Health Center on the East Coast in 1976. We are in the process of writing our dual memoir about our many years with this group. The 4 year degree program is still in existence in the school that we helped to develop now located in Syosset on Long Island in NY. There are many alternative healing arts being taught in this institution. In 1997 my husband and I created our 501c3 not for profit organization: The International Association for The Advancement of Peace. The sisterhood which I direct is entitled FUIL/ Females United In Light/ Fuel for the Earth. My efforts involve regular women's circle gatherings which generate an incredible healing energy. When women gather with humility and surrender to the central intention of the circle (which is the generation of an healing energy-which by the way occurs quite naturally when there is humility) there is a powerful healing force that is generated and reverberates out to the greater whole. The experience encourages the realization of the incredible power that women hold and a very powerful way of expressing it. The effects are profound both for the participants and to the world.
