Introducing myself and my journal: Quatros Caras Diferentes

About Me:
I’m Erin and I’m a Project Coordinator for MKE and Associates. An overarching theme in my volunteer activities has been to support projects that promote the alleviation of poverty among women in the US and in the developing world. In the past, I have volunteered for Catholic Charities working with French speaking refugees and a women’s shelter for survivors of domestic violence in New Mexico serving primarily Mexican and Navajo women.
The perfect night out for me would be drinking a little wine and speaking French, Spanish or Portuguese. Not surprisingly, I am passionate about aromatic (stinky) French cheese, and samba. I wish it were possible to live many lives at once so I could be an urban planner in Portland, a civil engineer in Haiti, a feminist anarchist in Argentina, and an economist in Brazil.

My Passions:
language aquisition

My Challenges:
staying in the moment

My Vision for the Future:
economic justice

My Areas of Expertise:
languages, feminist economics
