Introducing myself and my journal: Questing for Peace

About Me:
At the moment I am in Bethlehem, Palestine where I have been volunteering with a NGO named The Holy Land Trust <www.holylandtrust.org>, which among other things is working with Christian and Muslim Palestinian women and girls to empower them to become the leaders for their future. I was just in Egypt as well–during the voting process–and experienced the aspirations of millions of people there to become truly free to choose their future.

I have been dedicated to a global culture of peace since I was a child, and now at 67, am increasingly feeling that perhaps I can use my experiences, knowledge, resources and personal connection to "the Light" to be a part of creating that future. I have been connecting to; <www.theshiftnetwork.com> for information and support in these efforts and have been though their Peace Ambassador Training Course as student and mentor. I am in a PhD program with Wisdom University <www.wisdomuniversity.org> and currently looking to narrow down a dissertation topic which will synthesize my learning and aspirations and also become an inspiration for others.

My Passions:
Peace, Love, Connection to the Light, Creating Community, Justice, Sustainability.

My Challenges:
Feeling shy about putting out myself into the spotlight, not very technology-minded.

My Vision for the Future:
I believe that we are rapidly becoming a global community who sees itself as connected/one.

My Areas of Expertise:
Writing, travel, listening, supporting, sustainable technologies, intentional community.
