About Me: My name is Jacqueline J. Burgess, but most people call me Jacquie. I describe myself as a feminist activist. I have been married for almost 36 years and I am the mother of two grown children - a boy 35 and a girl 30. I have the most adorable grandson who just turned 3 in May. My activism work is done through a few NGOs which deal with issues including domestic violence/violence against women, rape, sexual harassment and gender and HIV/AIDS.
